NCL are all about dressing cruise casual, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in! Skirts, shorts, dresses, t-shirts - whatever you like is acceptable around the ship. Swimwear can also be worn at the buffet and outdoor restaurant as long as you wear a cover-up.
In the evenings or at specialty restaurants, you can dress up slightly more if you feel like it. Think smart casual and be advised that men cannot wear flip flops, baseball caps, visors and faded, ripped or holey jeans in these locations.
NCL ships will usually have US and European plug sockets. For UK guests, you might need to bring along an adapter or two, but you shouldn’t have any issues plugging in chargers and other electrical items.
As with most cruise lines, NCL doesn’t offer self-service laundry facilities. However, guests can pay to use laundry services where items will be picked up directly from your stateroom and delivered back to you folded and ironed, ready for wearing again.

It’s the port authority who dictates when you can get off a ship, and these times can vary depending on what time the ship is permitted to dock. However, it’s usually between 6.30am and 8am if you don’t need any help with your luggage. If you do require help, then it’s usually between 8am and 11am.
