Cruise Line Cancellation Policies

Many cruise lines have introduced temporary terms that provide much greater flexibility for your travel plans. These new policies are designed not only to protect guests who have already booked a cruise, but also to give you the confidence to go ahead and book your cruise, with the peace of mind that you won’t lose out, should you decide to reschedule your travel plans for any reason.

These plans are being updated frequently and can change at any time. We are monitoring these closely and will aim to give you the most up to date advice. This information was last updated on Septermber 3rd at 3:00pm.

These policies apply only to the cruise element of a booking. Where you have booked a package with Cruise Nation, we will not charge any amendment fee but if there is a difference in the value of your new holiday you will be required to pay the difference.

Azamara

Future Cruise Credits

You have up to 48 hours before you sail to cancel and receive 100% of the amount paid in a Future Cruise Credit to use toward any sailing through April 2022.

Same Cruise, Same Price

Booked your ideal voyage, but need to postpone? You can rebook the same cruise the following year for the same price (including promotions) when you contact us by 30 September 2020.

Celebrity Cruises

Future Cruise Credits

Guests have up to 48 hours before sailing to cancel and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit to use toward any sailing through to 4th May 2022.

Lift and Shift

Celebrity will protect your original cruise fare price and promotion when selecting an alternate sailing of the same itinerary type, ship series, cruise length, and stateroom category within 4 weeks of the original sail date. Simply make this change by September 30, 2020.

Best Price Guarantee

If the fare on your sailing is reduced or the promotion gets better, contact us and we’ll honour your choice right up to 48 hours before sailing.

Costa Cruises

Choose a cruise with a departure date by June 30th 2021

Book a cruise before September 30th 2020 and choose from amazing itineraries in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Dubai and the UAE, or the Far East with departures before June 30 2021.

You can cancel your cruise up to 48 hours before departure

You have up to 48 hours before the departure date to postpone your cruise for another date and destination.

Future Cruise Credit

Receive a Future Cruise Credit in the amount paid to Costa to book a new cruise! You can use your credit on a future cruise departing before November 20, 2021.

Cunard

Prior to your balance due date you can:This means prior to the balance due date you can now:

  • Transfer your booking to any Cunard voyage currently on sale (and not just to those within the next 12 months).
  • Transfer your booking to a voyage of higher or lower value (and not just of a higher value, as is usually the case).
  • Transfer your booking an unlimited number of times (and not just once).
  • Transfer your bookings free of charge, as we will waive the current £100 administration charge for each transfer made.

Holland America

Book any cruise that departs through April 30, 2022 before September 30th 2020 and you can cancel for any reason up to 30 days before departure and receive a Future Cruise Credit in the amount of non-refundable fees collected by Holland America Line (the remainder will be refunded to you). You can use the Future Cruise Credit when you’re ready to book your next cruise holiday.

MSC Cruises

To truly make your future cruise with MSC stress-free, you can reschedule your cruise free of charge up to 21 days before departure.

All bookings made between 1st August and 30th October 2020 will be eligible for MSC’s Stress-Free Booking policy, with the new terms valid for all sailings taking place within 31st December 2021.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Peace of Mind Policy means that guests who have a voyage up to and including 31st October 2021 which was booked and deposited by 30th September 2020 have the option to cancel and receive 100% Future Cruise Credit. Those with a cruise departing in 2020 may cancel up to 48 hours before embarkation, while those with departure dates between 1st January and 31st October 2021 can cancel 15 days before embarkation. The 100% FCC can be used on cruises with a departure date up to and including 31st December 2022.

P&O Cruises

All Bookings departing on or after 16 October 2020

Guests sailing on or after 16th October 2020 can take advantage of our free flexible transfer policy up to 90 days prior to their holiday. This means that for Select Price or Early Saver bookings sailing on or after 16th October 2020, guests can transfer their booking free of charge to any P&O Cruises holiday currently on sale (of higher or lower value), transfers can be made an unlimited number of times.

Princess Cruises

Cancellation Policy

Cancel up to 30 days before you sail and receive a Future Cruise Credit for any cancellation fees and a refund of additional funds received to the original payment method.

Royal Caribbean

Future Cruise Credit

Guests have up to 48 hours before sailing to cancel and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit to use toward any sailing through to 30th April 2022.

Lift and Shift

Allowing guests wanting to take the same cruise the following year, for the same price, and with the same promotion. Simply make this change by 30th September 2020.

  • Moved within the original same 4 week period of their original cruise date, same time next year
  • Same itinerary type, sailing length, cabin category
  • The decision to reschedule a booking for same time next year can only be made once and must be done by 30th September 2020

  • Not applicable to group or net rates
  • Guests may change their offer as many times as they desire up to 48 hours before sailing
  • For bookings within final payment, any amounts owed will be refunded in the form of nonrefundable Onboard Credit. For bookings outside of final payment any amounts owed will be refunded to form of original payment
