Find out more about the MSC Belissima in our blog guide below.
The second of MSC’s Meraviglia Class ships, the 4,500 passenger MSC Bellissima is due to launch in March 2019, following sister ship MSC Meraviglia which debuted earlier this year.
Set to include many of MSC Meraviglia’s most popular features, Bellissima will wow guests with an exclusive set of Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, designed specifically for the ship.
The new vessel, which will spend its inaugural summer sailing a series of Western Mediterranean itineraries and homeporting in Marseille, Barcelona and Genoa, will feature state-of-the-art technology – including digital wristbands for payments, bookings and geo-location of their children – as well as a spectacular indoor Galleria Bellissima promenade with an 80 metre LED projection ceiling depicting different scenes and moving images during both day and night.
Along with the ever-popular Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, guests will also be able to enjoy speciality dining experiences, designed by some of the world’s top chefs, a two-deck indoor amusement park and a huge 25-metre pool.
MSC Bellissima will also cater for larger family groups, with cluster cabins designed for up to 10 passengers, alongside the joint-largest family area of any MSC Cruise Ship, with facilities for children of all ages.
Travellers looking for a luxury experience will find it in Bellissima’s MSC Yacht Club, named by the company as a “ship-within-a-ship”. This exclusive area spans three decks and is accessible only by key card. With its own swimming pool, restaurant and solarium, as well as a range of high-end suites, this is Bellissima’s most luxurious retreat.
Designed for efficiency, MSC Cruises Meraviglia Class ships feature scrubber technology to neutralise carbon dioxide emissions, as designed to ensure the ships will also be water emission free.

After successfully debuting on MSC Meraviglia, Bellissima will also include a number of single cabins for solo travellers. These interior cabins contain a single bed, which can be transformed in a sofa, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
At the most expensive end of MSC Bellissima’s accommodation, the MSC Yacht Club Royal Suites come with large double beds, bathrooms with a tub and a balcony with a private whirlpool bath.
