This Conquest class flagship is something of a vacation destination itself. While you're on your way to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, you'll enjoy world class meals at the Renoir dining room or the Point Steakhouse, or you can take part in sports activities, have a laugh at the Punchliner Comedy Club, and get involved in Hasbro, The Game Show.

The ship's interior decor is of a French Impressionist style designed to complement the port city of New Orleans. Illuminated Murano-glass flower sculptures adorn the ceilings, and hand-painted replicas of Degas' ballet studios and Toulouse-Lautrec's Parisian theatres accent the lounges and theatres. The restaurants also feature some of Renoir's paintings such as "Lunch at the Restaurant Fournaise" as well as Monet's famous "Water Lilies" paintings.

Restaurants

Renoir Dining Room

This fantastic formal and flexible main dining room opens for dinner every evening. It's the smaller of the two main dining rooms and spans decks three and four. If you prefer fixed time seating, you can join them for the early slot at 6:00 pm or the late slot at 8:15 pm. If you prefer sitting at different table every night at a time slot of your choice, you can attend anywhere between 5:45 pm and 9:30 pm. A live band is also located in this restaurant.

Monet Dining Room

This formal, flexible main dining room opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It is the larger of the two main dining rooms and have enough seating for 1,122 guests. It spans decks three and four and have windows on three sides, which offer guests some incredible views. Breakfast and lunch have open seating and dinner is either fixed time seating at 6:00 pm or the late slot at 8:15 pm or flexible dining, where you can attend anywhere between 5:45 pm and 9:30 pm.

Point Steakhouse

Point steak house offers a memorable culinary experience, with their cuts of prime beef offerings cooked to perfection, as well as a wide array of premium seafood. Their steaks are out of this world and include mouth-watering options like Filet Mignon, New York Strip and Cowboy Steak, all of which are aged for 21 days. It's a great date or special occasion spot.

Cezanne Restaurant

This buffet on the Lido deck is divided into several distinct areas. It includes the Pizzeria, Asian Station, Taste of, The Grill, New York-Style Deli, Dessert Station and Sur Mer. Also available are various self-serve ice cream and frozen yogurt machines.

Guy's Burger Joint

This excellent burger joint has the best burgers on board, every day from around noon to 6 pm. The restaurant is a Carnival partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri. The burgers are all grilled to perfection and has several toppings to choose from. It is located close to the pool on the Lido deck and have a surf shack look, which appeal to guests of all ages.

BlueIguana Cantina

This pool deck Mexican venue opens daily for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. It's a great place to go for breakfast as they have arepas, huevos rancheros and made-to-order breakfast burritos. The fantastic food continues until the afternoon with freshly made tacos (chicken, fish, or pork) and burritos (beef, shrimp, chicken or bean). Scrumptious toppings include lime-infused rice and pico de gallo to beans and corn. The soft taco shells are freshly made, the food is delicious, and the lines are usually short, especially on port days.

Sushi at Sea

This sushi spot forms part of the Cezanne buffet area and offers affordable yet delectable sushi and sashimi as well as rolls, sides, soups, sakes, Kirin beers and desserts. You place your order at the counter and will receive a buzzer which will alert you when your order is ready.

The Chef's Table

The exquisite Chef's Table gourmet experience is bound to please even the pickiest foodie. It takes place in various locations and includes a multi course meal as well as a tour of the ship's galley with the head chef. The food is expertly paired with complimentary wine. Book as early as possible as it is often sold out by the time the cruise departs.

Dr. Seuss Breakfast

The whole family can enjoy this meal that is part breakfast and part journey into the tasty and whimsical world of Dr. Seuss. As expected, this is a delicious feast of Green Eggs and Ham and other fantastical treats brought to you by the Cat in the Hat and Friends. It's recommended that you reserve a spot as this breakfast only takes place once during the cruise on a sea day at a main restaurant.

Bars and Lounges

EA Sports Bar

EA Sports Bar is the ship's sports bar, which offers guests the chance to view sporting events on the overhead TV screens whilst enjoying a drink. They offer a large selection of beers along with beer cocktails, other cocktails and snacks like hot peanuts and soft pretzels. A must for all sports video game fans as they also have the latest video game titles from EA SPORTS available in the sports bar and are free to play.

RedFrog Rum Pool Bar

This pub which is located by the pool on the Lido deck, is a popular Carnival Line staple. It has festive kitschy island decor, tropical drinks in fishbowls, Carnival's own Thirsty Frog Red Ale, which you can buy in bulk for groups. Choose the patio area if you'd like to do some people watching while enjoying your drink or choose the outdoor area if you want to try one of their comfy swinging chairs. It has live musicians performing a range of music genres but mostly reggae and country.

Bluelguana Tequila Bar

This pool bar is situated on the Lido deck and offers Mexican favourites, including some top-notch tequilas and a selection of Mexican brews, cocktails and margaritas. You can try these by the glass or by the pitcher, or even enjoy their unique Mexican beer cocktails.

Alchemy Bar

This quirky bar is a firm Carnival cruise line favourite. It has a fun concept that the mixologists wear lab coats and create cocktails as prescriptions. They have some fantastic cocktails available and they also hold mixology lessons here, which is well worth attending.

Artists' Lobby & Bar

During the day, you'll find activities such as charades, trivia, Scattergories and more. At night, the space comes to life as a live music venue with a dance floor. The area is decorated with a magical hand-painted mural depicting details from several famous Impressionist paintings.

Blue's Piano Bar

This is the ship's piano bar, which opens in the early evening and continues to stay open until late. It' a great spot to catch a drink while enjoying live piano music, or even taking part in the sing-alongs that take place around the revolving piano.

Degas Lounge

Inspired by Impressionist painter Edgar Degas, this lounge is home to several activities no matter the time of day. During the day it's home to shop and spa seminars and it's a great place for karaoke at night.

Alfred's

Inspired by painter Alfred Sisley, this is a beautiful quiet place to read a book during the day. It transforms into the Carnival Conquest's Latin music and dancing headquarters at night.

Henri's Nightclub

This eye-catching club features jungle paintings by Henri Rousseau. It's a quiet and sophisticated place during the day with events like art auctions. Late nights are a completely different story though, when it turns into a full-on nightclub and dance floor, perfect for those who like to strut their stuff on the dance floor.

Vincent's Jazz Bar

The Carnival Conquest's cigar bar is classy and stylishly inspired by the Vincent Van Gogh paintings of sunflowers in a vase. It has a stage for live music and is used as a smoking room.

Toulouse-Lautrec Main Show Lounge

This show lounge is the ship's very popular main show lounge, which spans decks three, four and five. At night they host all the ship's major stage productions, including dancers, singers, musicians and magicians. It's a bit quieter during the day, when they offer audience participation game shows, talks, lectures, and bingo games.

Activities

Carnival's Seaside Theatre/ Cinema

This theatre/ cinema is located on deck ten and has a huge 12' x 22' LED screen where you can watch movies, concerts, cartoons, as well as news and sporting events. It also has a dance floor and music to dance to later in the evening.

Tahiti Casino

The Tahiti Casino is located midship on deck five and opens every night, except when the ship does overnight port calls. It has plenty of slot machines and electronic poker, along with roulette, blackjack, craps, Texas Hold'em and Let it Ride poker.

Pools

Most of the fun to be had on a Carnival cruise during the day centres on the outside Lido Deck and main swimming pool, with various fun contests taking place. As long as the weather is nice, the pool is a hub of activity with adults sipping drinks and kids splashing around.

The ship's Sky Pool is quieter and adults-only and the two hot tubs also are adults-only.

Outdoor Recreation

The ship has a half-court basketball and volleyball court on deck eleven as well as a nine-hole mini-golf course one deck up. There is a great jogging track on deck eleven, where ten laps equal one mile. Ping Pong and shuffleboard are also available.

Spa

This decadent spa has all the most popular treatments available such as massages, facials, wraps and scrubs. It also offers medi spa treatments such as wrinkle busting and teeth whitening. It also has a full-service hair salon with men's grooming options.

Fitness Centre

Deck eleven is also the fitness centre area where you can join a class or make use of their state-of-the-art LifeFitness machines, including ellipticals, stationary bikes, treadmills, resistance machines and free weights. Some of their classes are free but others like pilates and yoga are charged per class. Personal training also is available.

Kids Clubs

The Carnival Conquest has a large area dedicated to children and teenagers, plus a lengthy list of activities. The minimum age for sailing on Carnival is 6 months. If you have always loved reading to your kids and enjoy Dr Seuss, their Seuss at Sea initiative is a must. The ship is a good choice for families and offers a paid for "Night Owl" care for kids, which frees parents up to party until the early hours of the morning. The supervised youth programs include: Camp Ocean, Circle â€œC" and Club O2 for the little ones.
