There’s nothing more pleasant than taking a stroll along the seafront whilst enjoying the sunshine and the fresh sea air. The Coastal Path is referred to as El Camino de Ronda – the Way Round. The best place to start your walk is the terraces of Paseo Colon and walking around to Cala Crancs – once a favourite haunt for pirates! The walk is 1,600 metres long and takes about 1h15m to complete.

La Morera de Pablo i Esther
The Morera de Pablo i Esther is set in a quiet area of Salou, away from the main promenade. Offering an excellent fine-dining experience, this restaurant is a popular place for the locals of Salou and often gets booked up weeks in advance. Events in Salou
Salou Winter Festival
The Salou Winter Festival takes place in the last week of January, stretching into February. There’s a wide range of events and activities that take place for all ages. The culminating moment has to be what is known as Cos Blanc. This spectacular display sees 25 tons of confetti being shot into the air by cannons. The exhilarating display lasts for three hours and takes place along a 500 metre route around the town.
Feria Sabor
This annual gastro-event takes place every year over a weekend in late March/early April. The town’s restaurants set up stalls along the seafront promenade and offer their best dishes for visitors to enjoy. As well as the food tents, there are also culinary-based activities for visitors to get involved with.
Gastrotour
Taking place every year, usually in May, the Gastrotour provides an excellent way for visitors to explore the local cuisine. The Gastrotour is a route around participating restaurants, bars, cafes and ice cream parlours, which have created tapas and other dishes specifically for the event.
