Disney Cruises FAQs
What's included?
While Disney Cruises aren't truly all inclusive, there's still a lot that's included in your cruise fare, such as accommodation, many of the line's dining and entertainment options, and a stop at its private island (on certain itineraries).
Adult-only specialty dining, spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, bar food, gratuities, personal training, specialty coffees, sports simulators, movie snacks, wine tastings, specialty desserts, transfers, and photos are not included in your Disney Cruise Line fare.
What is the tipping/gratuities policy?
Disney gives their guests the choice to pre-pay gratuities based on recommended amounts or have their gratuities added for each night of their cruise to be paid at the end.
Are drinks included/what are the cost of drinks packages?
Soft drinks are included as standard with meals and from beverage stations found onboard. Additional charges apply for other bar drinks, including beer, wine, smoothies and bottled water.
What is the dress code?
Cruise casual is the way forward for guests most of the time on a Disney cruise. But depending on how many nights your cruise is, you’ll have a few fancy dress opportunities. Make sure you pack appropriately and check your itinerary for any suggestions on what to pack!
What plugs/voltage is required?
All staterooms are fitted with 110-volt US sockets, although if you’re sailing on Disney Dream or Disney Fantasia, you’ll also have access to 220-volt European sockets.
Are there laundry facilities onboard?
For your convenience, self-service laundry facilities and valet laundry are available at a small fee. So, whether you need your fancy dress costume freshly pressed or the kids need some clean clothes after a day of exploring on your shore excursions, you can do it all from the ship.
Can I use my mobile from the ship?
Disney offers Cellular at Sea, which means that everybody can receive and make calls and texts from their phones as normal during their Disney Cruise. Simply check your international rates, let your provider know that you’re travelling internationally and switch on roaming - then you’re good to go!
What is the cost of Wi-fi onboard?
Multiple Wi-Fi packages can be purchased and used throughout your cruise depending on your needs. From your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you’ll be able to choose the package you prefer and view prices.
What are the onboard payment options?
Your Key to the World card is your onboard payment method and this can be topped up prior to your cruise.
Can I smoke onboard?
Smoking, including e-cigs and vapes, is only permitted in certain areas of the ships. Guests found smoking in their staterooms or on their verandas will be fine a $2450 stateroom recovery fee.
Can guests bring water on Disney Cruises?
Guests can happily bring bottled water onboard their Disney cruises if it's factory sealed, still in its original packaging and in their carry-on luggage.
Are Disney Cruises fun for adults?
Disney Cruises are definitely tailored towards kid-friendly, family fun, but there's still plenty for mum and dad to do too. You can escape to exclusive lounges and nightclubs, take a dip in the adults-only pool, enjoy intimate dining by yourselves and treat the two of you to a range of luxurious spa treatments.
Is there alcohol on Disney Cruises?
Yes, alcohol is served on Disney Cruises. However, there are no dedicated drinks packages, so any alcoholic beverages must be paid for individually when you order one, unless you're purchasing one of its two Wine Packages.
