Rotterdam's Showroom at Sea is a new twist on both theatre seating and the productions themselves. The theatre now offers tiered seating with the front rows by the stage populated with cabaret-style chairs and small tables.

Private cooking classes are taught by the Pinnacle Grill's chef, the ship's executive chef or a guest chef, and topics range from kids' cooking workshops to desserts. The space also serves as a movie theatre, which offers three showings of a different film each day, complete with popcorn.

The Lower Promenade offers a popular walking deck (with great deck chairs), where 3.5 laps equal a mile. Other sports facilities and activities include tai chi lessons, shuffleboard, putting, and a basketball, volleyball, and paddle tennis court.

Steiner's Greenhouse Spa on the Lido Deck looks out to sea with floor-to-ceiling windows. The spa has an impressive thermal suite, which includes access to multiple saunas, a steam room, aromatherapy room, relaxation room with heated ceramic loungers and a hydrotherapy pool. Treatments onboard are provided using Elemis brand products. A dedicated salon offers hair, nail and men's services.

Located inside the spa, this fitness centre features an impressive array of cutting-edge fitness machines such as stationary bikes, rowing machines, ellipticals and weight machines, plus treadmills that face floor-to-ceiling windows over the ocean. Some of their classes are free but others like pilates and yoga are charged per class. Personal training is also available.

The main pool mid-ship on the Lido Deck features two large whirlpool tubs and a retractable roof, which means you can swim whatever the weather. On the aft end of the deck, through the Lido Restaurant, is the Retreat resort pool area but is not an adults-only venue.

The Rotterdam offers fantastic kid and teen club facilities. Club Hal has age-appropriate activities for kids aged three to twelve and the teens have their own hangout space called the Loft.
