The new MSC Bellissima, currently being built at the STX Shipyard in France, will launch in Southampton in March 2019, to be the largest ship ever to be christened in the United Kingdom.

Her excellent array of features will rival her impressive sister ship, the MSC Meraviglia, and her innovative MSC for Me technology will enhance your onboard experience and keep you connected to everyone and everything. Her wide variety of staterooms and suites offer absolute luxury, comfort and relaxation.

At the heart of the Bellissima is a fantastic indoor promenade, featuring a dazzling eighty-metre-long LED dome, which is the inviting social hub of the ship. The world class features include two sensational new Cirque du Soleil shows, exclusive to the Bellissima, and a spectacular desert themed Water Park, which is perfect for the whole family.

Main Dining Rooms

MSC Bellissima's main restaurants serve first-class Mediterranean and international specialities in stylish surroundings. Menus will change daily, and mouth-watering dishes have been created for the elegant dinners by Internationally acclaimed German Master Chef Harald Wohlfahrt and the awarded-winning Spanish Master Chef Ramon Freixa.

¡HOLA! Tapas restaurant

¡Hola! Tapas Bar, at the heart of the Mediterranean-style promenade on deck 6, will serve a range of sharing dishes throughout the day. The two Michelin-starred chef Ramon Freixa's will mix tradition and vanguard and so that guests can enjoy a taste of Spain with a lively social atmosphere.

L'Atelier Bistrot

This friendly bistro promises top-notch French cuisine. Snacks include everything from basics like cheese and charcuterie to high class dishes such as escargots and foie gras. They have delicious and hearty mains, traditional French desserts, as well as Parisian-style breakfasts.

Chef's Table

Chef's Table promises to deliver you quite the culinary experience! Your meal will consist of seven exquisite dishes, each served with a different wine. During your meal, the chef and sommelier will talk you through the food and wine choices. There is a maximum of 8 people on this experience so booking is essential.

Chocolate Bar / Crepes & Gelato

French master-patissier Jean-Philippe Maury brings his award-winning touch to the Chocolate Bar, where chocolatiers in an open kitchen will create sweet masterpieces to seduce the eye and delight the palate. Chef Maury is also the creator of a gourmet ice cream parlour and creperie on the promenade.

Eataly

Foodies will delight in all that is on offer as Eataly offers all the best Italian cuisines. Eataly is made up of three parts: there is the Ristorante Italia, the Eataly Steakhouse, and last but not least, Eataly Pizza. You can enjoy their world-famous pizzas at the steakhouse, at the on-board wine bar, La Cantina di Bacco, or even in your own cabin as room service, between the hours of 8PM and midnight.

Venchi Gelatera

Enjoy the best artisan Italian ice cream in the world at the Venchi Gelatera. Venchi was founded in 1878 and have evolved into a world-famous brand, famous for only using hundred percent natural ingredients combined with their exclusive recipes. You'll find the Venchi Gelatera by the main pool area if you want to try some exquisite ice cream that was freshly made on board that very day.

Kaito Sushi Bar

This flamboyant restaurant serves food from far-flung corners of the world, which makes this dining experience a real enjoyment of the freshest flavours at sea. Now you can have the best sushi on board while immersing yourself in the meditative atmosphere and authentic flavours of Japan. Food include culinary treats such as sushi, sashimi, maki and tempura made by the expert hands of sushi chefs. It has an extensive menu of sushi specialities with Japanese aperitifs, plum wine, Sake and Japanese flavoured teas.

Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant

Lovers of Asian food is in for a real treat at the MSC Bellissima's Kaito Teppenyaki restaurant, which offers a great combination of traditional mixed with the ultra-modern. It has a meditative type atmosphere and offer the authentic flavours of Japan. If you haven't had Teppanyaki before, prepare to be entertained by food cooked on a teppan hot plate right in front of you in a flamboyant show. See the master chefs at work and even be entertained with some knife shows, which makes for a truly unique eating experience.

Butcher's Cut

Butcher's cut serves only the best speciality meats from around the world. The atmosphere is relaxed, so you don't have to worry about a dress code. The menu is bold and though and it's a great place for friends to meet up or a quiet romantic dinner with your partner. The hero dish, steak comes in all shapes and sizes, from a standard size filet mignon up to a massive 38-ounce dry-aged tomahawk sharing plate.

Marketplace

The marketplace will be open 20 hours a day and will serve mouth-watering Mediterranean specialities and international cuisines, including world food and cuisine which is based on where the ship is. They will also have healthy options available.

Bars and Lounges

Edge Cocktail Bar

The MSC Bellissima's Edge Cocktail Bar will be among the ship's twenty's creme de la creme bars on offer. This pre-dinner bar is the perfect spot to join friends for an aperitif or enjoy a refreshing drink at any time of day. Have one of their expert mixologists mix up your favourite drink or try one of their luxurious speciality drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Champagne Bar

The chic Champagne Bar offers a choice selection of champagne, prosecco and other bubblies from around the world, accompanied by a mouth-watering array of oysters, caviar and crab.

Carousel Lounge

Designed to host exclusive shows by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil every evening, the thousand square metre Carousel Lounge is also a dining venue and becomes a lively disco after the two shows each night.

TV Studio and Bar

The TV Studio & Bar houses a radio broadcast suite and a TV studio broadcasting live games, quizzes, talent contests and other fun content across the ship. This high-tech, multi-purpose space also doubles up as an atmospheric comedy club, karaoke bar and live music venue.

Attic Club

Party with friends, enjoy a pre-dinner drink or simply dance into the early hours at the stylish onboard nightclub.

Theatre

The MSC Bellissima theatre will offer new and exciting West-End style performances every night of the week. It features an iconic LED Sky Screen, which at 80 metres long, is the longest one at sea! The screen will entertain passengers with a whole range of thrilling shows and animations.

Fans of Cirque du Soleil will be spoilt rotten as there are two original shows every night, 6 nights a week by the CDS cast. Cirque du Soleil is the world leader in live artistic entertainment and guests get to enjoy all of this with a fantastic culinary experience thrown in - definitely a worth-while experience!

Aqua Parks

The MSC Bellissima has not one but two fantastic water parks, the Grand Canyon-themed Aquapark and the Polar Aquapark - one of the most intricate and exciting water parks at sea! The Polar Aquapark has fun for the whole family in, with four slides, a Himalayan Bridge, several swimming pools and entertainment.

The Sportsplex

This large and spacious amusement park provides a large space where guests can play sports and games during the daytime and then socialise, party and dance the night away. It consists of a basketball court that doubles as a nightclub and a double-deck aft lounge and entertainment space.

F1 Simulators

Fantastic for kids of all ages, these two Formula 1 virtual-reality racing cars compete head-to-head in a race that will get pulses racing.

Full Size Bowling Lanes

You might not expect to be able to go ten-pin bowling whilst you're in the middle of the ocean, but you can on the MSC Bellissima. Get competitive and aim for a strike!

MSC Aurea Spa

If you're looking to get truly pampered on this ship, then look no further than the Balinese themed MSC Aurea Spa. The Aurea Spa offers a range of treatments designed to revitalise your body and soul. It features a thermal area, beauty salon and nail boutique.

MSC Gym by TechnoGym

Equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym cardio and strength-training equipment, the MSC Bellissima gym offers a wide range of innovative fitness courses and training programmes. There is a separate spinning room and area for circuit training, as well as a separate room for classes. Pilates, yoga and group bike training are 10 euros per person, per hour.

4D Cinema

The MSC Bellissima's 4D cinema adds a new viewing dimension, which will make you feel part of the movie. It is described as being a cross between a cinema and a rollercoaster and combines 3D graphics with moving seats and a combination of sound, sight, motion and special effects, such as wind gusts and rain.

Kids Entertainment

Kids are spoilt for choice aboard the MSC Bellissima. From top games consoles (PS3, Xbox and Wii) to the Doremi Tech Lab for kids, which includes a 3D printer.

Kids are always made to feel special, receiving a dedicated welcome from the Kids Corner in the port terminal onwards. Security bracelets are issued when you board, while beepers or DECT phones can be hired for a modest charge so you can keep in touch at all times.

The Bellissima has a varied kid's program, with entertainment and social events tailor-made for four separate age groups in their own clubs. And they're all free, too!
