The Grandiosa is a new MSC Meraviglia Plus cruise ship which was debuted in November 2019. This impressive ship will build on the success of her sister ships and offer even more space as well as a serious of impressive new innovations.

Guests who choose the Aurea Experience will be able to enjoy flexible dining as well as unlimited drinks at certain restaurants.

All the new Meraviglia Plus ships include:

Family cluster cabins where up to 3 cabins can be joined together
A double deck entertainment space
An outdoor water park and an indoor amusement park
A VIP MSC Yacht club with its own lounge, solarium, restaurants and glitzy duplex suites
The very latest in wristband technology, which will allow you to locate your friends and family and also make on board payments

Other highlights include an extended 111-meter-long indoor promenade. Like on the Meraviglia, the promenade will house a range of restaurants, bars and shops and will be covered by a "digital sky" LED screen showing events and vistas overhead.

The Meraviglia Plus promenade features an extended screen of 95 meters by 6 meters supplied by Samsung, which will also provide next-generation mobile and medical technology onboard. In addition, the extended promenade will house two extra restaurants, giving passengers a wider dining choice.

Main Restaurant

The main restaurant offers traditional Italian meals and wines and opens for breakfast between 7 AM and 9:30 AM, lunch between noon and 2 PM and dinner has two seatings at either 7 PM or 9:30 PM. Dinner comprises of seven courses and they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available.

Marketplace Buffet

The marketplace will be open 20 hours a day and will serve mouth-watering specialities and international cuisines, including world food and cuisine which is based on where the ship is. They will also have healthy options available.

Butcher's Cut

Butcher's cut serves only the best speciality meats from around the world. The atmosphere is relaxed, so you don't have to worry about a dress code. The menu is bold and it's a great place for friends to meet up or for a quiet romantic dinner with your partner. The hero ingredient, steak, comes in all shapes and sizes, from a standard size filet mignon up to a massive 38-ounce dry-aged tomahawk to share.

Chocolate Atelier & Creperie

Kaito Sushi Bar

This flamboyant restaurant serves food from far-flung corners of the world, which makes this dining experience a real enjoyment of the freshest flavours at sea. Now you can have the best sushi on board while immersing yourself in the meditative atmosphere and authentic flavours of Japan. Food includes culinary treats such as sushi, sashimi, maki and tempura made by the expert hands of sushi chefs. It has an extensive menu of sushi specialities with Japanese aperitifs, plum wine, Sake and Japanese flavoured teas.

Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant

Lovers of Asian food are in for a real treat at the MSC Grandiosa's Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant, which offers a great combination of traditional mixed with the ultra-modern. It has a meditative type atmosphere and offers the authentic flavours of Japan. If you haven't had Teppanyaki before, prepare to be entertained by food cooked on a teppan hot plate right in front of you in a flamboyant show. See the master chefs at work and even be entertained with some knife shows, which makes for a truly unique eating experience.

La Piazzetta Restaurant

This fantastic self-service buffet and pizzeria is the perfect spot to grab a tantalising slice of pizza on the go.

Eataly

Foodies will delight in all that is on offer as Eataly offers all the best Italian cuisines. Eataly started off in Italy with its fantastic array of restaurants and food markets and have since expanded to branches all around the world. They chose to partner up with MSC cruises to now offer their gourmet food at sea.

Yacht Club

The Yacht Club is an exclusive haven of luxury on the MSC Grandiosa. The all-inclusive gourmet dining here raises the bar even on MSC Cruises' own high standards, allowing you to dine when you like, as the mood takes you.

Bars and Lounges

The Champagne Bar

The elegant Champagne bar features a vast variety of champagne, prosecco and other bubblies from around the world. The drinks are accompanied by a scrumptious array of oysters, caviar, and crab.

Edge Cocktail Bar

The MSC Grandiosa's Edge Cocktail Bar is among the ship's crÃ¨me de la crÃ¨me offerings. This pre-dinner bar is the perfect spot to join friends for an aperitif or enjoy a refreshing drink at any time of day. Have one of their expert mixologists mix up your favourite drink or try one of their luxurious speciality drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Horizon

The Horizon bar is one of the MSC Grandiosa's twenty bars and lounges and is located next to the Horizon pool with brilliant panoramic sea views.

Fine Art Museum

The MSC Grandiosa has a unique new contemporary and classic fine art museum, which will be first of its type at sea. Here you can see original artworks exhibited in collaboration with art museums and cultural centres around the world.

Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil fans will be happy to hear that their team has designed two brand new shows especially for the Grandiosa, which you can enjoy in a gadget filled lounge while enjoying your dinner. This specially-built lounge can host up to 450 guests, including more than a hundred enjoying the full show-and-dining experience.

MSC Aurea Spa

The Grandiosa's spa is inspired by Bali and offer signature relaxation treatments for your enjoyment. It comes complete with a beauty salon, thermal area, and nail boutique, all designed to help revitalise body and soul.

MSC Technogym

The gym has all the cutting-edge Technogym cardio and strength training equipment and offers users a fabulous sea view. The friendly and attentive staff will help you find the right fitness course or training programme for you.

Polar Aquapark

This is going to be one of the most exciting and intricate water parks ever built on a cruise ship. It includes a "Himalayan Bridge", three twisting slides, as well as a range of pools and features which offers activities for everyone, no matter their age.

The ship is very kid friendly and has a Baby Club for little ones from one to three, a mini and juniors club from those three to eleven and a teens club, split into 12-14-year olds and 15-17-year olds.
