Restaurants

The Tropicana Room

This main dining room only opens for dinner and has retro supper club dÃ©cor inspired by Miami beach life in the forties and fifties. You will find it on deck seven, where you can enjoy its floor to ceiling windows which offers incredible ocean views. It features a big wooden inlaid dance floor with a bandstand and offers showings of Burn the Floor dance performances.

Taste and Savor

Taste and Savor are the two smaller dining rooms, which can be found on deck six, and open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dining rooms cater for different food choices and allergies, and it's a good idea to let the staff know of your food requirements when booking your cruise. Gluten-free, vegetarian and spicy items are however marked as such on the lunch and dinner menus.

Garden Cafe

The lovely Garden Cafe buffet is on deck fifteen. They serve daily breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as having some evening snacks available. While there's plenty of space available, the seats become much busier during their peak hours that range from 8 to 9:30 am on port days and noon to 1 pm for lunch on sea days.

Flamingo Bar & Grill

The Flamingo Bar & Grill on Deck 16 serves Latin dishes like pulled pork, rice and beans, and empanadas. Recipes were created by Norwegian's Miami-based staff, and they deliver an authentic flavour.

O'Sheehan's Neighbourhood Bar & Grill

O'Sheehans is open 24 hours a day and is the perfect place to get your fill of British style breakfasts and pub food. Expect a full English breakfast and pub classics like fish and chips and chicken wings.

Shanghai Noodle Bar

Here, you can watch the show as chefs slice, dice, steam and fry delectable potstickers, shrimp dumplings, beef chow fun, and Peking shrimp and chicken. The noodles are spot on and they also have some lovely dessert options.

The Haven restaurant

For cruisers staying in a suite in the Haven complex, this pretty restaurant has a more refined menu than the other main dining rooms. It opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also caters for vegetarians as well as those with special diet requirements. The food here is top class and the service is impeccable.

Teppanyaki

This intimate Japanese dining venue only serves a small number of guests at any one time, so reservations come highly recommended. This unique restaurant allows you to see Japanese hibachi meals cooked in front of you by chefs performing tricks with the food and their cooking utensils.

Le Bistro

This remarkable restaurant has classically French decor, with stylish indoor seating as well as more relaxed alfresco outdoor seating. It has some of the best French cuisine available ranging from appetisers, soups and salads to meats and seafood, and some classic desserts such as Apple Tatin and Creme Brulee.

La Cucina

This brilliant a la carte dining venue offers fantastic Italian food like pizza and pasta, fresh salads, Italian desserts, great wine and Italian drinks like espresso and cappuccinos to round off your meal.

Cagney's Steakhouse

Cagney's is an a la carte restaurant with a traditional thirties steak house feel. Some of the menu highlights include: several steak cuts along with lamb, veal and pork chops; surf and turf; grilled yellowfin tuna steak, grilled salmon, jumbo shrimp skewers and a fried fisherman's platter. Guests can make reservations at the reservations desk situated on deck seven.

Moderno Churrascaria

This delightful South American restaurant has an a la carte menu and opens daily for dinner. It's located on deck eight and operates on a red and green card system. If you haven't seen this before it means that if you pick green, the waiters will keep offering you tasty skewers of barbecued meats which is carved at your table and once you are full, you simply indicate your red card to stop service.

Ocean Blue

This beautiful a la carte restaurant is a seafood restaurant helmed by Food Network star Geoffrey Zakarian. There are too many exciting dishes to mention but appetisers include: oysters, chilled shrimp, salmon trout tartare, blue crab salad and ahi tuna sashimi; clam chowder, oyster stew, baked clams, broiled oysters and crabmeat and black mussels.

Wasabi

Wasabi specialises in expertly made fresh sushi and sashimi. They also offer mouth-watering Yakitori dishes, grilled and accompanied by dipping sauce; varieties include chicken dumplings, short rib, squid, and prawn.

Illusionarium

This select dining venue on deck six is well worth the cover charge for those who enjoy magic shows. Here you can enjoy a three-course dinner, while being entertained with illusions of world-class magicians and supernatural special effects. During dinner. an illusion-filled story line plays out around the room. They offer twelve performances per cruise with two shows per night.

Bars and Lounges

Bar at the Atrium

This wine and cocktail bar at the Atrium has a self-service wine bar and mixed drinks on offer. If you are happy to help yourself to your own wine, they have 8 different ones on offer, and you can choose any size which starts at a taste and go up to either a half or a full glass.

Mixx Bar

This cocktail bar on deck six is perfect for upscale cocktails and wines.

O'Sheehan's Neighbourhood Bar

The Norwegian Getaway's O'Sheehan's Neighbourhood Bar and Grill is a complimentary 24/7 sports pub serving a large variety of drinks. It is located on deck seven and serves a large array of drinks and American comfort foods. If you are looking for something non-alcoholic, they also have an ice cream bar serving several ice creams, floats and milkshakes. Their huge screen shows movies and sports and they also have other activities like air hockey, pool and miniature bowling available.

Sugarcane Mojito Bar

You will find this little treasure on deck eight in the Waterfront area and it offers indoor and outdoor seating. It is a Latin American style bar which has some great deals on mojitos, rum punches, pisco sours and a speciality drink called the Saturn landing.

SVEDKA and Inniskillin Ice Bar

The Ice Bar cocktail bar is located on deck eight and is called Ice Bar for a reason: it has a constant temperature of eight degrees below zero. Because of this frosty temperature, it is able to host ice sculptures and furniture carved out of pure ice. Some of their best ice sculptures are a South Beach iconic Ocean Drive skyline with palm trees etched into the icy walls, a â€œWelcome to Miami Beach" sign, as well as featuring a life-size alligator throne made entirely from ice.

Activities

Getaway Theatre

This big theatre spans decks six and seven. It proudly offers two Broadway shows: Burn the Floor and Million Dollar Quartet. Burn the Floor shows at both main screenings, which are at 7 PM and 9:30 PM as well as also appearing in the Manhattan Room. Million Dollar Quartet follows a night in the recording studio with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash, and features many of their crowd-pleasing hits.

Bliss Ultra Lounge

This night club is based on a trendy New York Club and features an LED lit entrance and LED walls. It has a pulsating dance floor where you can strut your stuff. They sometimes have events like karaoke contests and evening trivia.

Mandara Spa

The Mandara Spa offers several treatment rooms, a thermal suite and salt room, as well as a full-service salon and barber shop. Allow yourself to be pampered by some of the best spa treatments available. Couples treatments are also available in the ship's Spa Villa.

Fitness Area

The gym features equipment like treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines and bikes as well as free weights. Fitness staff offer world class personal training and group fitness classes, some of which are charged for. Those who want to take their exercise routines outdoors can hit the jogging track, located on deck fifteen.

Kids Clubs

The Breakaway's Splash Academy has some excellent activities for kids and the little ones almost has as many exciting offerings as their parents. They can even enrol in Circus School where they will learn and perform all kinds of skills and cool tricks in their workshops.
