It opens from 4 PM daily until a late close and have some fantastic cocktails and martinis to choose from. They have entertainment available such as live piano music, trivia competitions and Name that Tune quizzes.

Arguably the ship's best nightclub, Dazzles is the place to go if you enjoy dancing until the early hours of the morning. It has a great energy, experienced DJ's and a large dance floor, making it perfect for boogieing the night away. It's large enough to host late-night salsa dance classes and evening game shows that make guests part of the show. It also hosts art auctions and trivia during the day.

Fans of premium caffeinated drinks love this intimate coffee bar, which serves up espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes along with tea and iced creations. All Coffee Bar beverages are considered premium and therefore aren't covered by the drinks package.

Previously the Atrium Bar, you will find this little treasure on deck eight. It’s a Latin American style bar which has some great deals on mojitos, rum punches, pisco sours and a speciality drink called the Saturn landing. You'll find live music here throughout the day, you can hear it from any spot in the atrium. It's a great option if you're a people-watcher.

The Longboard sports bar is located on deck eleven and seat up to seventy guests. It opens daily from 2 PM til close and screens all the exciting sports events on its big TV screens. It is also a great place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or lunch or enjoy a livelier dinner buffet with lots of snacks also being available. You can also play a game of darts or Big Buck Hunter here.

This club is on deck twelve and opens daily from five until closing time, offering fantastic views over both sides of the ship. It has a tropical theme and serves a brilliant array of premium wines and champagnes, along with a full bar. It serves as the Concierge Lounge during the day, a sushi bar in the evening and a full-on karaoke bar at night.

Breakers is very big for a pool bar and is popular with guests. Luckily the bar staff are very well trained and waiting times are generally low. They have some excellent cocktails, some of which are premixed to save on time. When poolside parties take place even late at night, Breakers is open. Otherwise, it closes before midnight.

The lounges floor to ceiling windows allow for stellar views as well as creating a lovely light and bright atmosphere. It is served by its own bar and also has its own large dance floor, which is popular at night. During the day and early evening, the lounge hosts get-togethers for groups like Friends of Bill W., and solo traveller and LGBT mixers.

Being the only bar on the sun deck, Champs is great for anyone in the mood for tanning and offers some shade if you need a break from the sun. It also has a seating area where smoking is allowed.

This is the Norwegian Sky's large main theatre lounge, which spans decks six and seven. It seats 930 guests and have all the ship's main productions including big shows like Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, and Wicked. They also do comedy and magic shows, as well as game shows like Deal or No Deal, which is charged for. It is quieter during the day but have some activities available such as seminars and Bingo games.

The Norwegian Sky's casino can be found on deck seven in the middle of the ship and opens daily. It is an adult only venue and as well as having a plethora of slots games they also have table games like blackjack, craps and varieties of poker including Caribbean stud and Texas Hold'Em.

While the Norwegian Sky does not have a specific allocated card room, it does offer daily informal bridge games in the Maui conference room. You will find this on deck six and the game times will appear in the guest's "Freestyle Daily" newsletters.

The Mandara Spa offers several treatment rooms, a thermal suite and salt room, as well as a full-service salon and barber shop. Decorated with an Asian theme including Buddha statues and lotus artwork, the spa and salon are open each day from about 8am to 10pm. Located next to the spa, the Body Waves Fitness Centre is not very big but provides adequate room for training, whether you're interested in the cardio equipment such as bikes, ellipticals or treadmills, like pumping iron, or would prefer a fitness class like yoga or pilates.

Outdoor recreational facilities include a sports court, shuffleboard and golf driving nets, all located on Deck twelve. Deck eleven features two Ping-Pong tables and there's a jogging track on Deck, where 3.5 laps equal one mile.

The Norwegian Sky has two deep and dazzling pools on deck eleven as well as four separate hot tubs. The pool area has a beautiful teak deck and the pools and hot tubs stay open until around midnight, which makes it perfect for a quiet late-night dip.

Colombian Emeralds International is lovely shop on deck six sells a range of diamond, sapphire and emerald jewellery and watches. There are also clothing shops and liquor shops which often offer tasting to boost their sales. Norwegian also hold regular art auctions throughout your cruise.

The Norwegian Sky has fewer families travelling on it than other ships. This is partly due to its itineraries such as cruises to Cuba, which is more appealing to couples and friends than families. It has more of an adult feel, with its all-inclusive drinks package and several late-night parties.
Having said that, if you're taking kids with you, they still have the Norwegian Cruise Splash Academy program and offer cabins to accommodate families. The kid's facilities and activities run from early to late on sea days and parents are welcome to view these facilities on their first day on board.
