Your floating resort

The 225,282-ton Allure of the Seas was the world's largest cruise ship before its sister ship Harmony of the Seas was christened in May 2016. The ship is breath-taking in scale and ambition but never overwhelms because most of their public spaces are broken up into smaller 'neighbourhoods'.

They've added loads of new experiences on board, which will allow you to enjoy the life at sea even more. It offers new ways to shop and play and is also now offering the fastest internet ever at sea. The Entertainment Place is on deck, complete with clubs, lounges and even an indoor ice-skating rink. The Royal Promenade shopping area is the size of a football field, where you can shop to your heart's content.

Chef's Table

The Allure of the Seas' Chef's Table has mandatory reservations and quite a hefty cover charge. It is however worth it if you can afford it as it offers exclusive multi-course dinners with paired wines. This takes place at a private fourteen-seat table in the Concierge Club on deck 12. On top of the courses with expertly paired wines, the sous chef also introduces every course and explains how the dish was prepared. The sommelier then describes the wine and all guests get an autographed copy of their Savor Cook book as a memento. Everyone meets up in the library for a pre-dinner glass of bubbly before sitting down for the meal.

Coastal Kitchen

The Coastal Kitchen can be found on deck 17 and is only open to those who have booked a Grand Suite or above. It's in a stunning location, overlooking the main pool with fantastic lighting flooding in and tasteful and muted decor. The service here is excellent, as can be expected for an exclusive restaurant, with incredible attentiveness and courteousness.

Giovanni's

This restaurant is on deck 8's tree-lined Central Park neighbourhood. Giovannis is an Italian Trattoria, which opens for lunch at noon and for dinner between 6 PM and 9:30 PM. There is a cover charge and reservations are recommended for dinner.

Izumi

Izumi is on deck 16, next to the Windjammer restaurant. This Japanese restaurant can seat up to 73 guests and has a central sushi bar where you can grab any seat to join in the fun. The food on offer ranges from Sushi and Sashimi to beef and hot pot nabe and rock chicken. While it opens every day for dinner at about 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, it only opens for lunch on selected days. It has a cover charge plus a la carte pricing.

Johnny Rockets

The Johnny Rockets Burger Bar can be found on deck 6's Boardwalk neighbourhood and seats 128 people. This fifties style diner serves old fashioned fast food, such as tasty burgers, fries and creamy milkshakes. There is a cover charge for lunch and dinner although breakfasts are free.

Park Cafe

The Park cafe can be found on deck 8's Central Park neighbourhood and opens for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. The focus here is on healthy eating, with walk-up counters. If you're on a health kick you can enjoy one of their fresh fruit cups for dessert. For everyone else, they also serve cheesecakes, brownies, cookies and tarts.
