The nautical decor of the Schooner bar is simply breath-taking and worth a look just to experience it. It can be found on deck 4 and can seat up to 112 guests and a resident pianist. It's a great space for a quiet drink or to join in their activities, such as sing alongs and trivia quizzes.

The Dog and Badger
The Dog and Badger
If you're after a proper British pub, this is the place to go. Located on deck five with seating up to 96 guests, they have a fantastic range of beers, ales and ciders on offer. It also has a resident musician who plays live music most nights.

Vintages
Vintages
The Independence of the Seas' signature wine bar, Vintages, is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a glass of wine and take in the view of the Royal Promenade. It can be found on deck 5 and charges a cover fee for wine tastings and classes. It was developed with Robert Mondavi, Beringer Blass Wine Estates and Niebaum-Coppola to offer guests a great wine tasting experience. Tapas are also available to help line your stomach.

Boleros
Boleros
The Boleros Lounge can be found on deck four and seats up to 77 guests. It is the Independence of the Seas' Latin Bar with views overlooking the promenade. It features its own dance floor and stage and live entertainment includes live bands performing salsa music. They also sometimes play classical music at quieter times.

Flowrider
Flowrider
The Flowrider on deck thirteen is the perfect place to try out your surfing or boogie boarding skills. There are quite a few safety instructions and rules about what clothes to wear, so it might be best checking in with them before your session. The rides are free, but you can pay extra for an instructor to help you with your board skills. And the Wipe Out bar is a fantastic bar for sitting afterwards to watch the other guests' attempts.

Alhambra Theatre

The huge Alhambra Theatre spans decks two, three and four and can sit up to 1,320 guests. It is five stories high from the Orchestra pit to doomed ceiling and have fantastic entertainment available every night of the week.

Rock Climbing

This is a fantastic place for adrenaline junkies to try out their rock-climbing skills. Beginners are welcome, but kids need to be six and over and six to twelve-year olds need adult supervision at all times.
