Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. On that occasion, the guests on board for the maiden voyage were all honored as the ship's godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship. Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships. Seabourn Odyssey's 229 ocean-view suites are divided into 13 categories, with interior measurements from 295 to over 1,200 square feet.

Ninety percent have private verandas, which add from 65 to over 350 square feet of additional private living space. Highlights in accommodations are the exceptional Wintergarden Suites, which have a private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and a lounging bed. This suite also features a veranda that is bowed out, giving wonderful views along the side of the ship.

The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey's additional size is utilized to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues.

The Colonnade

Seabourn's casual yet sophisticated indoor/outdoor alternative, The Colonnade, offers an open kitchen, lavish buffets or table service for breakfast and lunch, and regionally themed, bistro-style dinners with nightly table service. This versatile dining venue features special theme nights, including Chef Keller-influenced dinners that celebrate his American roots. Guests can indulge in family-style servings of classic comfort dishes like Clam Bake and BBQ Ribs, fostering a shared experience of fun and togetherness. Reservations for the Chef Thomas Keller-influenced menu in The Colonnade can be made once onboard, enhancing the culinary journey on Seabourn.

The Grill by Thomas Keller is an exclusive culinary experience on Seabourn, featuring a unique menu by Chef Thomas Keller. Guests enjoy table-side preparations of classic dishes like Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes, alongside steakhouse favorites such as Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach. The a la carte menu sources the freshest ingredients from artisan purveyors, complemented by a curated cocktail program and a wine list featuring domestic and old-world labels. For booked guests, online reservations for The Grill by Thomas Keller can be requested prior to sailing, with recommendations to secure reservations due to high demand. Onboard reservations are also accepted, with one reservation permitted per voyage.

Chef Anton Egger

Chef Anton "Tony" Egger, hailing from a family of Austrian restaurateurs, was raised with a strong farm-to-table ethic. After earning his bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts in Salzburg, Austria, he garnered experience in prestigious establishments across Austria, Switzerland, France, and Asia. Through his consulting firm CULPLUS.COM, Chef Egger collaborated with the cruise industry, opening restaurants in Singapore and Bangkok, designing culinary concepts and training programs in Asia and Europe. He made global appearances in culinary events alongside renowned Michelin-starred chefs, showcasing his expertise and passion for culinary innovation.
