Construction for Seabourn Pursuit began in fall 2020 during a ceremony in San Giorgo di Nogare, Italy, and the build process is well underway. The ship is scheduled for delivery in 2023, with its sister ship, Seabourn Venture, slated for delivery in 2022. Seabourn Pursuit is the second Seabourn expedition ship slated to launch in 2023.

Both Seabourn Pursuit and sister ship Seabourn Venture are designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and include modern hardware and technology that will extend the ships' global deployment and capabilities. Each will carry two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, kayaks, and a 26-person expert expedition team whose role is to engage guests throughout each voyage.

The ship then continues onward by exploring the waters and landscapes of Greenland, Iceland and Norway throughout the spring and early summer, in some instances retracing the path of the Vikings to the frontier town of Troms¸ while carving its way through the inside passage of the Norwegian fjords along the way.

The Colonnade

The laid-back Colonnade provides a relaxed atmosphere with an open kitchen, extravagant buffets, and personalized table service for breakfasts and lunches. The Colonnade takes dining to the next level with special theme nights, showcasing Chef Keller's influence and paying homage to his American roots. Guests can indulge in his imaginative takes on classic comfort dishes, like the nostalgic Clam Bake and BBQ Ribs, adding a delightful twist to every dining experience.

Every night, the talented chefs of Earth & Ocean craft a captivating assortment of fresh and innovative dishes. This sophisticated menu is a celebration of diverse traditional flavours from around the world, offering a unique and distinctive dining experience. The Grill by Thomas Keller stands as a distinctive culinary concept, an exclusive gem for Chef Keller aboard Seabourn. The a la carte menu features a selection of beloved steakhouse favourites such as Lobster Thermidor and creamy spinach, all prepared with exquisite attention to detail. The Patio

Sushi

Seabourn's commitment to culinary excellence is evident in its Sushi restaurant, where a meticulously researched menu blends authenticity with Seabourn's culinary expertise. This modern take on traditional sushi embraces the finest ingredients, with premium selections like Hamachi, tuna, shrimp, and other fresh fish sourced directly from Japan and served a la carte for dinner. Chef Anton Egger

Chef Anton "Tony" Egger, hailing from a family of Austrian restaurateurs, was immersed in a farm-to-table ethos from a young age. After earning a bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts from a program in Salzburg, Austria, Chef Egger garnered experience in esteemed establishments across Austria, Switzerland, France, and Asia. Through his consulting firm CULPLUS.COM, he collaborated with the cruise industry, opening restaurants in Singapore and Bangkok. Chef Egger also contributed to culinary training programs and concept design in Asia and Europe, showcasing his expertise globally by participating in culinary events alongside some of the world's most renowned Michelin-starred chefs.
