Cathay Pacific
If your Cruise Nation holiday includes Cathay Pacific scheduled flights, we will issue your e-tickets approximately 14 days prior to travel, these tickets will need to be printed by you and presented at the airport to the Cathay Pacific check in desk where you will then be provided with your boarding passes. Online check-in opens 48 hours before departure, and closes 90 minutes before departure. Please ensure the airline locator is presented at check-in for your flight. Full flight details are provided on your confirmation invoice that has already been provided.
ADVANCE PASSENGER INFORMATION
Advance Passenger Information (also known as API or APIS) means your Passport/Identity Card details and in some instances, your contact information, are provided to the authorities before you travel.
Cathay Pacific may only provide each country's Customs & Immigration authorities with the relevant API or booking data required by law. This is governed by Data Protection laws applicable in the UK and the requesting country.
It is important that you provide API for each passenger travelling with you. Any inaccurate or incomplete data provided could delay your journey, either at check-in or with the immigration authorities. Cruise Nation nor Cathay Pacific cannot accept responsibility for incorrect or incomplete data provided.
HOW CAN I PROVIDE MY API DATA?
Please go to the website www.cathaypacific.com. Click on “Manage booking” in the grey icon in the centre of the page, click in the circle next to “Non-members” and then enter your last name, first name and Cathay Pacific booking reference (this can be found on your confirmation letter) and click on the > symbol in the red square.
When in the booking, tick next to each passengers name and then click on “Travel document” which is to the right of the passengers names. Click on “Edit” and enter each passengers 13 digit e-Ticket number (these e-ticket numbers can be obtained by Cruise Nation) and then click on “Submit”. You will need to click on “Edit” again and then you will be able to complete the API data for each passenger. Click on “Update” once this is done.
WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE PROVIDED MY API BY?
Ideally you should have provided your API by no later than 21 days prior to travel. Cathay Pacific will accept data from the moment that your booking has been made through us.
