Weather in the Mediterranean

Mykonos enjoys the quintessential Mediterranean climate—sunny, breezy, and effortlessly inviting. Summers (June to September) are hot and dry, with temperatures hovering around 30°C (86°F), perfect for basking on golden beaches and dancing until dawn. The famous Meltemi winds sweep through, offering a refreshing break from the heat (and occasionally making sunhats a challenge!).

Autumn (October to November) stays warm, with quieter streets and stunning sunsets, while winter (December to February) is mild but brings occasional rain and a more peaceful, local feel. Spring (March to May) sees Mykonos burst back to life, with blooming wildflowers, clear blue skies, and just the right amount of warmth for exploring its whitewashed alleys. No matter when you visit, Mykonos’ weather sets the perfect stage for island magic.
