MSC Splendida is a stylish and modern luxury cruise ship that transports guests to some of the most desirable cruise destinations in the world. It's packed with features including a squash court, F1 simulator, 4D cinema, award-winning spa, and a pool complex complete with 150 water fountains and jets, making this cruise ship more of a floating luxury resort.

It has a wide range of restaurants, bars, and live music on board. The food is mostly scrumptious Mediterranean fare, but they also have some other speciality restaurants like Tex Mex and a steak house. It has some great kids and teen clubs, which means you can enjoy the fantastic facilities and clubs or simply top up your tan while they're taking care of and having fun.

Restaurants

La Reggia

The beautiful La Reggia is one of MSC Splendida's main restaurants and opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served in the morning and lunch is a three-course offering with table service. If you want to join them for diner, you can choose an early seating at 7 PM or a late one at 9:30 PM. For dinner, you will be assigned a set table with other English-speaking guests, which encourages a bit of chatter. As you can sit anywhere at breakfast and dinner, the tables will be mixed languages and you may just learn a touch of Italian.

Villa Verde

Villa Verde is the MSC Splendida's second main restaurant, which opens for lunch and dinner daily and shares a menu with La Reggia. If a view is just as important to you as the food, Villa Verde has a much better view than the bigger dining option, with big picture windows, which gives a great relaxed, open feel.

Bora Bora

The vibrant Bora Bora is the Splendida's main buffet, which is located on deck fourteen and open twenty-four hours a day. It offers casual dining, tea, water and ice, and moves from breakfast through lunch and dinner without a break.

Pago Pago

Pago Pago is the MSC Splendida's more intimate buffet area, which is a great place to eat if you want a less crowded affair. There are usually some quieter empty tables towards the back of the ship. It is linked to the Bora Bora restaurant and opens at the same times but has a slightly smaller selection of dishes. On the positive side, it offers complimentary 24-hour tea, coffee water and ice.

Santa Fe Tex Mex

This bright and colourful Mexican restaurant with all the dÃ©cor you would expect like retro tables and giant cacti. It's a great place to catch up with friends for a quick bite to eat.

L'Olivio

L'Olivio is exclusively dedicated to MSC Yacht Club guests and offers reservation-only a la carte dining. Guests can enjoy dinner in the L'Olivio on deck fifteen at their preferred time slot, subject to availability.

Bars and Lounges

L'Aperitivo

L'Aperitivo on deck 6 is the ship's chic foyer bar and is a great place to stop of for a drink after making arrangements in the foyer.

La Prua Piano bar

La Prua seat 108 people and can be found on deck 7. It's the ship's main piano bar with live piano music on offer throughout the day.

The Aft Lounge

The Aft Lounge is the ship's show lounge, which has a lively atmosphere and has a dance floor and stage. A lot of the MSC Splendida's events are held here such as theme parties, talent nights and cocktail receptions for repeat guests. It is open from 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM.

Cigar Lounge

The Cigar Lounge is the ship's intimate smoking lounge which is located on deck six. It serves drinks from 5 pm until 12:30 am and is open throughout the day for passengers who want to smoke indoors.

L'Espresso Coffee Bar

L'Espresso, with its fantastic authentic Italian atmosphere, can be found on deck seven and is the ship's Coffee Bar. Do note though that you will have to pay for your coffee here, but coffee packages are available for those who like their caffeine hits several times a day.

Activities

Zip Line

The MSC fleet has some of the best and longest zip lines on the high seas. This thrilling ride is a must for everyone who is brave enough for this fantastic adrenaline-charged experience.

4D Cinema

The MSC Splendida's 4D cinema can be found on deck 16 and forms part of their Virtual world entertainment complex. If you enjoy 3D movies, "you ain't seen nothing yet!" This 4D cinema adds a new viewing dimension, which will make you feel part of the movie. It is described as being a cross between a cinema and a rollercoaster and combines 3D graphics with moving seats and a combination of sound, sight, motion and special effects, such as wind gusts and rain. Choose between these six films (or simply see all of them!): "Haunted Mine", "Cosmic Race", "Cosmic Coaster", "Rats Race", "Jett and Jin", and "Robots of Mars".

Poker Room

Whether you're a first-time player or an old hand, they have cards games dedicated to the world's favourite card game. The friendly dealers will help you take part in the many events on offer, including tournaments, live games, Texas hold â€˜em, as well as international Bingo.

Theatre

The cutting-edge Strand Theatre can be found spanning across decks six and seven, with seating for up to 1600 guests. This is the MSC Splendida's main theatre featuring some incredible acts. They have six shows a week, offering anything from singers and jugglers to shadow puppeteers and acrobatic gymnastics. Treat yourself to a show, you may come back more often than you think!

Disco

The buzzing Club 33 Disco is situated on Deck 16 and is open from 11 pm until the early hours of the morning.
